Halal Food in Cambridge

This is Abdul , I work in Cambridge Seminars College as a Recruitment and Admissions Officer and have been living in Cambridge for more than 5 years now. As I came from an Islamic Background, I understand some Muslim students would prefer to eat Halal Food, so here are some restaurants I recommend for every student and not just Muslim students

Bedouin

Bedouin is a charming restaurant offering mouthwatering African food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with traditional rugs, lanterns and frames lining the walls. The atmosphere, decor & all round ambience really makes you feel that you’re sitting at a table in the vibrant city of Morocco. Bedouin serves food bursting with flavours and tantalising aromas, combined with outstanding service we and the customers at Bedouin can’t recommend this little gem enough. We also highly recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment.

Taking inspiration from the 700 rivers of Bangladesh and many years of eating Sylheti cuisine from the hand of his mother, Aminur has developed a vibrant and mouthwatering menu, with Cumin, Turmeric, Tamarind at the heart of each dish.

Service at Raja is also friendly and welcoming with staff who can’t do enough for you.

Al Casbah

Located on Mill Road Al Casbah is a beautiful family run restaurant. The story of Al Casbah began in 1997 by the father with a view to offer the people of Cambridge vibrant, fresh, authentic and sublime North African cuisine. Today the sons continue the family tradition of serving fresh North African cuisine which tastes as good today as it did back then.

On entering, witness some theatre with the large charcoal grill, as the flames leap up to cook the freshly prepared meat and fish.

The restaurant has an energetic and warming atmosphere, and staff who are always on hands to make sure you have a lovely experience.
